MISSION POSSIBLE 2008
Mission Possible is our summer mission initiative. As a youth group will do mission projects in our community and at the end of the summer have a Mission Possible blow out! In order to participate in the party, you must have completed 12 of the following hours (you have 28 to choose from). You will have PLENTY of opportunities to get your hours. Just to keep it interesting, we have a handsome reward for the Junior and Senior High that have the most hours. This is your mission if you choose to accept it! Come on board for MISSION POSSIBLE 2008!

MAY 25th:
NO COMPLAINT CHALLENGE
6:00-7:00, CHURCH
That’s right, you get an hour just for coming to youth! Take the no complaint challenge and be eligible for more hours!

MAY 31st:
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
8:30-3:00, CHURCH
You must be signed up to help! Come out and be apart one of the most fun days we have all year!

JUNE 5th:
CDS ITEM DRIVE
Bring some of the following items to Lunch Bunch: toilet paper, paper towls, Ivory soap bars, band aids, dryer sheets, paper plates, toothbrushes, tooth paste. One service hour given.

JUNE 8th:
THANK YOU CAR WASH
11:00-2:00, CHURCH
Wear you bathing suit and bring a towel to wash the cars of our church members as our act of gratitude!

JUNE 10th:
LET THEM EAT PIE
1:00-4:00, CHURCH
We will meet at the church and head to Ms. Cathy Barnett’s home to bake some pies. What for? To deliver to our members that we haven’t seen in a while!

JUNE 19th:
WeCare Work Day
10:00-3:00 WeCare Ministries LUNCH PROVIDED
Because we love Ms. Betty so so much!

JUNE 25th:
Pizza, Popsicles, and Parables
5:30-7:00, Fellowship Hall
We love our children AND Ms. Jennifer! So come out for this fun, easy night of service!

JULY 1st:
QUENCH THEIR THIRST
1:00-3:00, CHURCH
Every youth needs to bring a case of bottled water to be handed out to thirsty drivers at the corner of Main and McCombs. Every bottle will be labeled with information about the church!

JULY 14th:
PAYING OUR RESPECTS
3:00-4:00, CHURCH
All youth need to bring some artificial flowers and meet at the church. We will head over to East Side Cemetery and place flowers on the graves of those who do not have any. Just a way of paying respect to those who have gone before us.

LUNCH BUNCH :)

Lunch Bunch is a weekly program where all the youth are invited to join me for lunch at a local restaurant for fellowship and fun. Most Lunch Bunches are on Wednesdays and we meet at 11:45. Lunch is dutch treat. We will be having two Lunch Bunch "To Go” trips that you will need to sign up for if you would like to participate, so we insure transportation for everyone. As always, parent chaperones are needed for both trips.
